Uber Could Be 'One Major Announcement' Away From Doubling Stock Price: Barclays Ride-hailing company Uber ( UBER The company is one major announcement away from realizing those gains, which could result in the stock price doubling from its current level of about $26 a share. "We think that Uber is one major announcement away from a positive narrative change heading into 2020, and we think getting involved ahead of rationalization of the Eats losses makes sense," analyst Ross Sandler wrote. The firm estimated that about half of Uber Eats' $1.2 billion EBITDA losses come from India, and another $450 million from the U.S. Sandler wrote that deconsolidating India and potentially combining Uber Eats' U.S. operations with another player would significantly improve that division's profit profile.
