YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- United Community Financial Corp. (Company) (NASDAQ: UCFC), parent company of Home Savings Bank (Home Savings), today announced net income of $8.7 million, or $0.176 per diluted common share (“EPS”) for the three months ended March 31, 2019, compared to $0.171 EPS, or $8.6 million for the three months ended March 31, 2018.
