Grant provides funds to local Smiths Creek, MI school to purchase 200 new books for classroom libraries. PORT HURON, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Domtar Corporation (NYSE:UFS) (TSX:UFS) today announced that employee volunteers from the company’s paper mill in Port Huron, Michigan will visit Kimball Elementary School today from 9:00-11:00 AM to donate and read new books to the school’s children as part of its partnership with First Book. Domtar makes a wide variety of everyday products from sustainable wood fiber, including communication, specialty and packaging papers, market pulp and absorbent hygiene products. Domtar’s Port Huron paper mill employs 269 people in the local community. Employees from Domtar will read to all 289 of the children at Kimball Elementary School, located at 5801 Griswold Rd, Smiths Creek, MI 48074. Media are welcome and encouraged to attend.
