( VFC ) reported better-than-expected second-quarter earnings and revenue growth Friday, but implied cautious guidance for the second half of the year. X Estimates: Wall Street expected VF earnings to jump 8% to $1.33 per share, according to Zacks Investment Research. Revenue was seen swelling 10% to $3.863 billion. Results: VF earnings popped 16% to $1.43 a share while revenue ran 15% to $3.91 billion, ending two quarters of accelerating growth for the top and bottom line. Digital revenue increased 48%, including a 17-percentage point boost from acquisitions. Outlook: VF now sees full-year earnings of $3.65 a share vs. the consensus for $3.61. Revenue should be at least $13.7 billion vs. analyst forecasts for $13.68 billion. But give the strong Q2 results, VF earnings guidance may imply a so-so second half.
