(NASDAQ: VVUS) (the "Company"), a specialty pharmaceutical company committed to the development and commercialization of innovative therapies focusing on treatments for patients with serious unmet medical needs, today reported financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2018 and provided a business update. “We are pleased to have recorded a third consecutive quarter of positive EBITDA, excluding one-time expenses associated with the PANCREAZE acquisition and debt restructuring, which demonstrates our ability to execute on our strategy of returning VIVUS to profitability,” said John Amos, Chief Executive Officer at VIVUS. “We intend to execute several new initiatives in 2019 that we believe will further grow revenues from our existing product portfolio, including launching PANCREAZE under the VIVUS brand in the first quarter and streamlining the Qsymia acquis
