Walgreens To Stop E-Cigarette Sales As Scrutiny Of Vaping Intensifies Amid regulatory scrutiny of vaping, Walgreens Boots Alliance said it will stop sales of e-cigarettes at all stores in the U.S. “We have made the decision to stop selling e-cigarette products at our stores nationwide as the CDC, FDA and other health officials continue to examine the issue,” Walgreens Boots Alliance said in a statement Monday afternoon. “This decision is also reflective of developing regulations in a growing number of states and municipalities.” Earlier today, the American Medical Association ratcheted up the pressure on “e-commerce sites” in an effort to curtail sales of vaping products, citing the “outbreak of serious lung injuries.” The AMA send a letter The move by Walgreens comes at a time when the drugstore chain is also evaluating whether “We’ve recently strengthened our policies related to tobacco sales, including a chain-wide Tobacco 21 policy (a minimum age of 21 for any tobacco purchases),
