AUSTIN, Texas, April 24, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Xplore Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:XPLR) today announced that Transportadora de Gas del Sur (TGS) has standardized on the Xplore XSLATE B10 fully rugged tablet PC across a number of business functions and workflows, including maintenance, production, and distribution logistics. The Argentine energy company is currently using the C1D2/ATEX-certified Windows® tablet to expedite the completion of work orders related to the maintenance of its widely-distributed pipelines. By end of year, nearly every workflow supporting the maintenance, production, processing, storage and transportation of its natural gas products will be solely managed on the Xplore XSLATE B10 tablet-based mobility platform. “Prior to the Xplore rugged tablets, TGS’ maintenance technicians would have to manually print, complete and submit work orders.
