Yeti's stock jumps after profit rises above expectations, while sales match Shares of Yeti Holdings Inc. YETI, +0.97% shot up 6.3% in premarket trade, as the newly public drinkware company reported a fourth-quarter profit that beat expectations, and provided an upbeat 2019 outlook. Net income for the quarter to Dec. 29 rose to $25.2 million, or 30 cents a share, from $4.0 million, or 5 cents a share, in the same period a year ago. Excluding non-recurring items, adjusted earnings per share rose to 38 cents from 8 cents, beating the FactSet consensus of 35 cents. Sales rose 19% to $241.2 million, matching the FactSet consensus, as drinkware sales growth of 24% to $143.5 million was above the FactSet consensus of $134.5 million and the 10% rise in coolers and equipment sales to $91.2 million missed expectations of $94.2 million.
