The offering values the company at around $9.1 billion based on its outstanding shares. The offering is planned to close on April 27 and the stock is slated to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker XE. X-Energy, founded in 2009, is developing enhanced nuclear fuel and tiny modular reactors. The startup hopes to deliver industrial operations and AI data centers, backed by deals with Amazon, Dow and Centrica. Investors will be looking to see if demand for AI-powered data centers can encourage adoption of small modular reactors and drive long-term revenue growth.
