Netflix ( NASDAQ:NFLX ) stock is in focus on Friday after the company raised prices across its subscription plans, with all tiers increasing by at least $1, according to updated pricing on the company's website. The ad-supported plan now costs $8.99 per month, up from $7.99. The standard plan rose to $19.99 from $17.99, and the premium plan increased to $26.99 from $24.99. Prices for extra members also rose. The company has said it expects to spend about $20 billion on content in 2026, up from $18 billion the prior year. Netflix previously forecast 2026 revenue in the range of $50.7 billion to $51.7 billion, citing membership growth, pricing and a projected doubling of ad revenue compared with 2025.
