(NYSE:CALX), today announced SandyNet, the city of Sandy, Oregon's municipal broadband utility, has deployed Calix AXOS Gfast and GPON solutions to extend the next generation gigabit experience to both single-family residences and multi-dwelling unit (MDU) buildings throughout the city. By utilizing AXOS Gfast E3-16F Sealed DPU Nodes, SandyNet has opened new market opportunities and taken advantage of the benefits of AXOS with rapid installation and activation of services in MDU locations not served by fiber to quickly gain new subscribers.
