At today's Apple Let Loose event, in addition to two new iPad Air models and some accessories including the Apple Pencil Pro , it was announced that the company's top-of-the-line 11-inch (5.3mm thin) and 13-inch (5.1mm thin) tablets will be powered by a brand-new, powerful M4 processor. With their new insanely thin design, they are officially the thinnest Apple Products ever made. New M4 processor The new iPad Pros come with Apple's powerful M4 chip baked into it. The new chipset, in combination with its thermal performance, delivers up to four times faster performance than the previous iPad Pro's M2 processor. Despite its processing power, the new chip uses half the battery power that the M2 chip did. This allows the 2024 iPad Pro to power through tasks like editing 4k video, multitrack audio, or tinkering with animation in an app like Autodesk Maya, while still providing enough juice to get you through your workday.
