"Mule School" is the creation of published author Bob Robbins, a retired physics, chemistry, and mathematics educator and a veteran of the US Navy.Robbins shares, "The poem is about a boy named Toby and his mule Elmer. However, within the verses there is a deeper meaning. The poem shows how the boy and his mule must learn certain rules in order to plow the desired 'Nice Straight Row.'
