Apple gave him a custom plaque made out of glass at an August meeting where CEO Tim Cook announced $100 billion in new investment in the U.S., as the company sought relief from Trump's tariffs. In December, FIFA awarded Trump its first-ever peace prize — which came with a trophy, a certificate and a medal. Venezuela opposition leader Maria Corina Machado followed suit, gifting Trump her Nobel Peace Prize during a January meeting in which she pushed Trump to support a democratic transition in her country. On Feb. 11 a pro-coal group took a page out of their playbook, awarding Trump the "Undisputed Champion of Beautiful Clean Coal” award at a White House event where the president announced funding for coal-fired power plants in five states and signed an order directing the Pentagon to buy electricity from coal plants.
