When Apple Vision Pro finally launched in February 2024, the tech giant lauded it as the beginning of something new. "The era of spatial computing has arrived," Apple CEO Tim Cook said , a promise of technology that seamlessly works in the space around you. After a few months, the mixed reality product (accompanied by equally mixed reviews ) may not be the harbinger of a future that is inevitable. However, it's a good preview of a digital world that is yet to come. In the HR context, the potential of spatial computing is massive. I'll start with a seemingly perpetual hot topic: remote work.
