Here are the what, why and when of what is thought to be coming. Apple iPhone 17e Release Date Since the iPhone 4s launched in October 2011, Apple has only released iPhones in the fall (every year) or spring (in 2016, 2020, 2022 and 2025). Actually, the most recent one was released on Feb. 28, which is technically still winter, but you get the idea. The first three of the spring releases were the iPhone SE, the fourth was the iPhone 16e. All joined the range as the most affordable option. So, since the iPhone 17e is the latest in this more affordable range, it seems overwhelmingly likely that it will see a spring release. The exact date could still move, but I'd expect it to be around Friday, March 6, 2026. So, what should we expect?
