Cronos falls, Aurora gains after wave of pot-stock initiations Cannabis stocks were down overall Monday, after Jefferies & Co. jumped into the sector with initiations of nine pot producers and called Aurora Cannabis Inc. and Canopy Growth Corp. the cream of the cannabis crop. Overall, Jefferies labeled five of the companies a buy: Aurora ACB, +4.74% ACB, +4.92% , CannTrust Holdings Inc. TRST, -6.50% , Organigram Holdings Inc. OGI, +1.16% , Green Organic Dutchman Holdings Ltd. TGOD, +3.79% TGODF, +3.53% and Flowr Corp. FLWPF, +3.88% Two companies received hold ratings — Canopy CGC, -1.53% WEED, -1.21% and Emerald Health Therapeutics Inc. EMH, +0.26% — while Cronos Group Inc. CRON, -7.62% CRON, -7.32% and Hexo Corp. HEXO, -3.73% HEXO, -3.48% were labeled as “underperform,” the equivalent of a sell rating.
