US stock futures inched up late Thursday as traders looked ahead to an important inflation reading due Friday, while a sharp rise in oil prices continued to destabilize markets. Futures tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average ( YM=F ), contracts linked to the S&P 500 ( ES=F ) and Nasdaq 100 futures ( NQ=F ) all climbed around 0.2%.
