DeAndre’ Bembry will be a free agent this summer. The 25-year-old defensive sparkplug has played well enough to earn another contract in the league. What some fans may not have known is that he is already a free agent – a sneaker free agent. Most NBA players quickly sign sneaker deals and never step on the court without being contractually obligated to wear a specific brand. Bembry isn’t the only sneaker free agent in the league, but he is quietly putting together an impressive portfolio of kicks worn on court. Bembry has played in 43 games this season and has worn sneakers from numerous brands – Jordan, Nike, Puma, Reebok and Li-Ning.
