Ameren Logo (PRNewsfoto/Ameren Corporation) Ameren intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes, including to repay a portion of its short-term debt, including short-term debt incurred to refinance Ameren's 3.65% senior notes due 2026 upon maturity.
