Committee, to succeed Aegon CEO, Lard Friese, as a non-independent member of the Supervisory Board of Dutch insurer, a.s.r., in which Aegon holds a strategic stake of approximately 24%. The nomination follows Aegon's announcement on December 10, 2025, that Mr. Friese would step down as a non-independent member of a.s.r.'s Supervisory Board to focus on the relocation of Aegon's head office and legal seat to the US. The proposal to appoint Mr. Keim will be voted on at a.s.r.'s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 20, 2026, as announced by a.s.r. today. Subject to shareholder approval, Mr. Keim will take up his position on a.s.r.'s Supervisory Board as of the closing of the AGM until July 4, 2028, in accordance with the Relationship Agreement between Aegon and a.s.r.
