The Hague, May 8, 2024 - Today, Aegon Ltd. publishes the agenda for its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) to be held on Wednesday June 12, 2024. The proxy materials, including the agenda for the AGM, are available on our website. At the AGM, the Board of Directors will present the Annual Accounts 2023 and will propose a final dividend for 2023 of EUR 0.16 per common share, bringing Aegon’s total dividend for 2023 to EUR 0.30 per common share. The agenda for the AGM also includes a proposal to adopt a new Director’s Remuneration Policy for the Non-Executive and Executive Directors. Furthermore, Aegon will propose to the AGM to approve three governance changes to enhance shareholder rights as announced on September 15, 2023, including introducing pre-emptive rights for common share issuance, requiring shareholder approval for share buy-backs, and for annual final dividend payments. Upon approval by the AGM these changes will be included in the company’s bye-laws.
