However, a recent surge in system orders has resulted in AEHR's backlog increasing to new all-time highs. Consequently, FY2027 should be a year of strong revenue growth for the company. However, with package-level burn-in products expected to contribute the majority of sales for the time being, Aehr's gross margins are not likely to recover to previous levels anytime soon. In addition, required working capital investments are likely to result in persistent dilution from open market sales under the company's new $60 million equity distribution agreement. Even when basing valuation on very optimistic FY2028 profitability estimates and an industry-leading EV/EBITDA multiple of 35x, the stock appears fully-valued at current levels.
