ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Board of Directors of The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES) approved an increase of 5% in the Company’s quarterly common stock dividend, from $0.13 per share to $0.1365 per share, beginning in the first quarter of 2019. “This is our sixth consecutive annual dividend increase, reflecting our growing cash flow and earnings, and our commitment to deliver attractive total shareholder returns,” said Andrés Gluski, AES President and Chief Executive Officer. The Company’s first quarter 2019 common stock dividend of $0.1365 per share is payable on February 15, 2019 to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 1, 2019.
