NEW YORK, May 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- AGBA Acquisition Limited (NASDAQ: AGBAU) ("AGBA" or the "Company"), a company formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses or entities, announced today the closing of its previously announced initial public offering of 4,600,000 shares of units which includes 600,000 units from the full exercise of the underwriters' option to purchase additional securities to cover over-allotments.The Company's units commenced trading on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 on The NASDAQ Capital Market ("NASDAQ") under the symbol "AGBAU." Each unit consists of one ordinary share, one warrant to purchase one-half of one ordinary share at a price of $11.50 per whole share, and one right to receive one-tenth of one ordinary share upon the consummation of the Company's initial business combination.
