The company said the product supports instant payouts and can be used for compensation and other disbursements. According to Thunes, the solution enables real-time payments into 12 billion bank accounts, mobile wallets and stablecoin wallets across 140 countries. Businesses can access the service through a single API. Thunes positioned the launch as a response to slow and fragmented international payout processes. The new payout capability connects firms directly to local payment schemes and wallets, including M-Pesa, Alipay and GCash. The payments company added workers in countries with volatile local currencies can receive stablecoin payouts, designed to reduce the impact of foreign exchange fluctuations on the value received.
