AdaptHealth Shares Rise 27% After 4Q Revenue Beat [MarketWatch]

The healthcare technology company said it had quarterly revenue of $858.2 million, compared with $780.3 million in the same quarter last year. Analysts polled by FactSet were looking for revenue of $825.5 million. Advertisement The company said revenue was driven by continued strength in its sleep and respiratory businesses. AdaptHealth had a loss for the quarter of $254.5 million, or $1.91 a share, compared with last year's loss of $2.6 million, or 2 cents a share. Analysts were expecting earnings of $24.7 million, or 18 cents a share. The company said the loss largely resulted from a $318.9 million pre-tax writedown of goodwill. The company said it expects fiscal 2024 revenue of $3.25 billion to $3.35 billion, while analysts are forecasting revenue of $3.345 billion. Write to Chris Wack at chris.wack@wsj.com
