NEW YORK CITY & NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Former Attorney General of Louisiana Charles C. Foti, Jr., Esq. and the law firm of Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC (“KSF”) are investigating the proposed sale of Akero Therapeutics, Inc. (NasdaqGS: AKRO) to Novo Nordisk A/S. Under the terms of the proposed transaction, shareholders of Akero will receive $54.00 per share in cash, and a non-transferable Contingent Value Right entitling its holder to receive a cash payment of $6.00 per share upon full U.S. regulatory approval of efruxifermin by June 30, 2031.
