Delaware court says Fresenius properly ended Akorn deal | Reuters 1 Min Read WILMINGTON, Del (Reuters) - The Delaware Supreme Court said in a court filing on Friday that Fresenius SE ( FREG.DE ) properly terminated its merger with Akorn Inc ( AKRX.O ), upholding a lower court ruling over the deal worth more than $4 billion. The Court of Chancery ruled in October that the German company could walk away from the deal, sending shares of the U.S.-based Akorn plunging.
