manufacturer (IDM) of patented bulk acoustic wave (BAW) high-band RF filters for mobile and other wireless applications, announced today the closing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 20,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $0.50 per share, including the exercise in full by the underwriter of its option to purchase 3,000,000 additional shares of Akoustis' common stock, for a total offering of 23,000,000 shares of the Company's common stock.. Net proceeds to Akoustis, after deducting the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses payable by Akoustis, were approximately $10.4 million. Roth Capital Partners acted as sole manager for the offering.
