Under the contract terms, the tier-1 customer to use Akoustis' next-generation 5.5 and 6.5 GHz Wi-Fi 7 XBAW filters in 4x4 MIMO router platform. The company has already secured Wi-Fi 7 Filter orders to support production ramp in September quarter of calendar year 2024. "The incorporation of Akoustis' Wi-Fi 7 coexistence filters into the carrier's 4x4 MIMO Wi-FI AP router platform demonstrates our advancements in technology and delivering superior performance for small carrier routers," said Jeff Shealy, founder and CEO of Akoustis.
