President Trump announced ICE agents would be sent to airports to assist understaffed TSA employees. Hagerstown Regional Airport's director stated their TSA staffing has been sufficient and no ICE agents were present. The White House said ICE agents would help with non-security roles to free up TSA officers. It was unclear if ICE's deployment would also include immigration enforcement duties at airports.
