customer-facing milestone in their merger, moving both carriers onto a single passenger service system that unifies booking, check-in, reservations, and loyalty benefits. The system cutover is among the final major operational integrations following Alaska Air Group's $1.9 billion acquisition of Hawaiian Holdings, which closed Sept. 18, 2024. While the airlines will maintain separate brands and websites, both now operate on the same Sabre passenger service system, which governs reservations, ticketing, check-in, seat assignments, flight changes, and frequent flyer tracking. Hawaiian spokesperson Alex Da Silva said, “This is the most visible integration milestone for guests since we unveiled our loyalty programs.” With both airlines on a single platform, passengers can now access itineraries, make changes, and check in using one reservation record regardless of brand, eliminating workarounds required when the carriers used separate systems.
