TROY, Mich., June 06, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Altair Engineering Inc. (Nasdaq: ALTR) (“Altair”) today announced that it priced its offering of $200 million aggregate principal amount of its convertible senior notes due 2024 (the “Notes”) in an underwritten offering registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”). The aggregate principal amount of the offering was increased from the previously announced offering size of $175 million. In addition, Altair granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional $30 million aggregate principal amount of the Notes offered. The Notes will pay interest semiannually in arrears on June 1 and December 1 of each year at the rate of 0.250% per year, beginning December 1, 2019. The Notes will mature on June 1, 2024, unless earlier repurchased, redeemed or converted.
