If Irvin Dana Beal is one thing, in my view, he is patently a man on a mission. To wit: the first time I met Dana, during a visit for Forbes Online in 2017 to the annual NYC Cannabis Parade (which honored him just this last year ), I walked up to him in Union Square to ask for a picture, and he immediately ordered me to round up some guys to help roll up the giant inflatable joint. The next time I met him was a year or so later at the annual Cannabis World Congress and Business Expo at Javits Center, in the media area, patiently waiting to introduce himself and proffer some informational materials on ibogaine to Roger Stone, who was pacing back and forth on the phone behind his security guys and was indicted a few days later. The third time I met him, around two years ago, he was handing out some free buds at a protest encampment to house the homeless.
