This article first appeared on GuruFocus Nvidia ( NASDAQ:NVDA appears to be confronting a slower reopening of China than some investors might have anticipated, after a senior Commerce Department official told lawmakers that none of the company's H200 processors have so far been approved for sale to the country. During testimony before the House Foreign Affairs Committee, David Peters, assistant secretary for export enforcement, said that, to his understanding, zero H200 units have cleared the licensing process two months after President Donald Trump moved in December to permit shipments to select Chinese customers. The comments arrive just ahead of Nvidia's earnings release Wednesday, when management could potentially address whether traction in China is beginning to materialize. Warning!
