It has already inked a 6-gigawatt strategic partnership with Meta Platforms . Under the terms of the agreement, the company is to power Meta's next-generation AI infrastructure across multiple generations of AMD Instinct GPUs. Last year, AMD inked a strategic partnership with OpenAI to deploy 6 gigawatts of compute. The first gigawatt deployment of AMD Instinct MI450 GPUs is to commence in the second half of the year. The strategic partnerships come as Advanced Micro Devices eyes $120 billion in AI revenue in a market projected to exceed $1 trillion.
