Stocks were attempting to shake off continued fears that disruption could undermine traditional enterprise software companies. Some of the high-multiple names hit hardest in recent sessions, including Club name Microsoft , were trying to bounce Wednesday. Still, the broader market remained under pressure with the S & P 500 and Nasdaq down 1% and 2%, respectively. Advanced Micro Devices stock was getting crushed — down more than 16% despite a beat and raise. Since AMD shares had been rallying of late, the Street was apparently looking for even stronger guidance. A notable gainer Wednesday was Club stock Eli Lilly .
