Competitor, Rivian Automotive (NASDAQ:RIVN) gained over 3%. Cautious optimism buoyed tech leaders such as Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) and Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD) . News of artificial intelligence (AI) security incidents had little impact on the sector, at least for now. What this means for investors Markets fell in early trading as hope for an imminent end to the conflict in Iran gave way to renewed escalation fears. However, indexes recovered before the close on reports that Iran is drafting a protocol with Oman to allow traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.
