The weakness in big tech reflects rotation, valuation resets, and CapEx fears more than broken fundamentals, as companies like Amazon and Microsoft remain structurally strong. Energy, basic materials, and utilities outperformance held up the indexes, masking internal damage and making this more of a rotation-driven correction than a broad collapse.
