Stocks are having a roller-coaster Thursday, the final trading day of the week because markets are closed Friday for Good Friday. Stocks fell sharply at the open after President Donald Trump's hawkish speech on the Iran war stoked escalation concerns and sent oil prices surging. But after the Morning Meeting ended, Iranian state media said that Iran is working with Oman on a protocol for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, which relieved some pressure on oil prices and helped stocks bounce well off their lows. The S & P 500 even briefly traded higher on the day. Jim Cramer said he's keeping an open mind in this frustrating and confusing market.
