CARNEGIE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation (NYSE: AP) reported sales from continuing operations of $102.5 million and $210.0 million for the three and six months ended June 30, 2019, compared to $118.4 million and $224.8 million for the three and six months ended June 30, 2018, respectively. The decline is principally attributable to lower sales of forged engineered products to the oil and gas industry.Loss from continuing operations approximated $0.7 million and $12.6 million for the three and six months ended June 30, 2019, respectively, compared to a loss from continuing operations of $0.2 million and $2.0 million for the same periods of the prior year.
