November 6, Amphenol Corporation (NYSE: APH) announced that it has closed its acquisition of Trexon from Audax Private Equity for about $1 billion in cash. Trexon specializes in providing high-reliability interconnect and cable assemblies mainly for the defense industry. It is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts and has facilities in the United States and the United Kingdom. According to Amphenol Corporation (NYSE:APH), Trexon is expected to have sales of approximately $290 million and EBITDA margins of about 26% in 2025. Amphenol (APH) Closes $1 Billion Acquisition of Trexon Amphenol Corporation (NYSE:APH) will include Trexon in its Harsh Environment Solutions segment. This acquisition is also expected to be accretive to the company's earnings per share in the first year post closing.
