The property was built in 1967 and renovated in 2009. The hotel is owned by an entity tied to Apple Hospitality REIT Inc., a Richmond, Virginia-based real estate investment trust that owns 217 hotels across 37 states. Apple Hospitality in 2010 purchased the property from Raymond Management Co. for $23 million. Prior to the purchase, the hotel was a Ramada Inn.
