SAN DIEGO and TORONTO, May 30, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aptose Biosciences Inc. (“Aptose” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: APTO, TSX: APS), today announced that it priced its previously announced underwritten public offering of 10,000,000 common shares at a price of $1.85 per share (the “Offering”) before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions. Gross proceeds from the offering of these shares, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions, are expected to be $18.5 million. The underwriters have been granted a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,500,000 additional common shares in the Offering. Aptose intends to use the net proceeds of the Offering to accelerate and expand its clinical trial programs, and for working capital and general corporate purposes.
