DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Atmos Energy Corporation (NYSE: ATO) today reported consolidated results for its fiscal 2018 second quarter and six months ended March 31, 2018. Fiscal 2018 second quarter consolidated net income was $179.0 million, or $1.60 per diluted share, compared with consolidated net income of $164.7 million, or $1.55 per diluted share in the prior-year quarter. Adjusted income from continuing operations was $175.2 million, or $1.57 per diluted share after excluding an income tax benefit of $3.8 million, or $0.03 per diluted share, related to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 (the TCJA). Net income from continuing operations was $162.0 million, or $1.52 per diluted share for the same quarter last year.
