Shares of Activision Blizzard gained 3.8% in Wednesday trading as they posted their highest close since Nov. 2, 2018, according to Dow Jones Market Data, when the stock closed at $68.99. Activision shares were the top performer in the S&P 500 in Wednesday's session and they notched their third straight day of gains. "Video games have become a safe haven, actually benefitting from stay-home," Jefferies analyst Ken Rumph wrote in a Saturday note to clients. "The risk of delayed games or recessionary revenue dips aren't yet denting market enthusiasm amid the rally." Activision shares have added 10.2% over the past three months, while Electronic Arts Inc. shares have increased 3.6%. The S&P 500 is off 15.4% in that span.
