From a broader sector perspective, BofA analyst Tom Curcuruto said he continues to favor capital-light exposure to AI, where companies can generate “material EBITDA and free cash flow (FCF) growth for the foreseeable future." "Alternatively, as concerns about potential overheating in AI infrastructure spending (and/or repricing of the commensurate debt issuance to fund it), we look favorably on stable, non-AI revenue exposures," he added. Across its semiconductor coverage, Curcuruto noted that near-term debt issuance needs remain limited, with most issuers either paying down debt or facing no major maturities in the near term. Intel was upgraded to Overweight from Marketweight on what Curcuruto described as improved stability, stronger liquidity and more compelling relative value.
