(NASDAQ: AVNW), the leading expert in wireless transport solutions, today announced it has received orders from a top-5 U.S. wireless carrier to provide wireless transport solutions in preparation for launch of their commercial 5G services in the second half of 2019. These orders will support the operator's initial 5G rollout in two states.The operator will deploy Aviat's wireless transport solutions to achieve multi-gigabit capacities as well as ultra-high reliability, both of which are critical requirements for 5G transport networks.
