LANCASTER, Pa., Oct. 23, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Armstrong World Industries, Inc. (NYSE:AWI), a leader in the design, innovation and manufacture of commercial and residential ceiling, wall and suspension system solutions, today announced that its Board of Directors has approved an increase in the company’s regular quarterly cash dividend to a rate of $0.20 per share of common stock ($0.80 per share on an annualized basis). This represents an increase of 14% over the previous quarterly dividend rate of $0.175 per share. The company’s Board of Directors also declared the cash dividend for the fourth quarter of 2019 to be payable on November 21, 2019, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on November 7, 2019.
